Pabst Andeker
One of the first projects we worked on with Pabst Milwaukee was helping to revive a classic ultra-premium recipe from the vault, Pabst Andeker. The recipe was purchased from monks in the 60’s by Pabst Brewing Company to help them compete in the ultra-premium category, which had become the most sought after beer style in the US at the time. One of the conditions that were agreed upon by PBC and the Andeker Monks was to never change the Logotype.
As the Pabst Milwaukee Innovation Brewery was relatively new in the modern craft brewing industry there in MKE, Pabst wanted to bring back some of the heritage that once made them the most popular brewery in the country. JTCM updated a primary logo badge with a retro design system that would see crowler wraps, custom-designed handmade tap handles, t-shirts, glasses, and a social campaign to raise awareness of the beer release to the market.
